Five
Seconds Expired
Combining
eclectic influences; the members of 5
Seconds Expired create a textured,
melodic, aggressive, dynamic, tonal,
rhythmic range of sounds, and expands
this theory with their self-titled album (2004). 5SE have
a long history of writing music together
in this band and outside projects, and
the band occasionally revisits it's
hardcore roots, previously known as
Slush, and songs from their first
worldwide release "Null" (1996) during
it's live performances. Another album of
new material is in the works, that
promises to be the heaviest release yet.

Minimus
After years of experience playing,
writing, touring, and recording together
in the bands; Slush, and Five Seconds
Expired -a new band- Minimus formed in
1999. An EP "hell America" was released and
supported with live shows. By late 2000,
while recording what was to be the
full-length debut, the idea of recording
some unreleased Five Seconds Expired
music during the sessions came up. But in
the process of reuniting 5SE, Minimus was
on hold for a while. 2005, the new
self-titled "Minimus. EP" was released, and the
band members are currently writing music
for a new album by 'the other band' Five
Seconds Expired (same members).
However Minimus has a full length album
planned, so stay tuned!
Rock Camp
Operated by Greg
Matses, this music camp involved hands-on
playing/performing, clinics, guest
performers, and more. Several MusicSpeak
Education Program students participate,
and I instruct, and perform at Rock Camp
with MusicSpeak and Five Seconds Expired,
and conduct drum clinics.
